Happy New Year!

January 8th, 2009

A New Year is a new start, and a fresh slate.  One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to blog more frequently, so starting today I will try to keep you updated on important topics related to my practice and psychology.  Professionally speaking, last year was a good year, full of growth and learning experiences.  Aside from my private practice in Liberty Corner, NJ I taught a class in Learning at Seton Hall University, and appeared as a distinguished panelist on the show “Fresh Outlook” which will air this Winter on the EBRU satellite station.  “Fresh Outlook” is a weekly, one-hour talk-show which analyzes some of the key issues affecting the welfare of Americans. Topics are tackled by a distinguished panel of experts who come from diverse backgrounds and professional experience.  I appeared as an expert on children and adolescents and the 5 shows addressed issues related to developing leadership in adolescents, raising adolescents, children and consumerism, excessiveness, and drug use.   You will be able to download the shows on the EBRU website once they air, I will be sure to keep you posted.  I am also very excited that my practice was written up in the Thursday January 8, 2009 edition of the Courier New!  Check out the article by clicking this link http://www.mycentraljersey.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/200901071648/BUSINESS/90107054.

I am looking forward to keeping you informed and sharing some of the many important lessons I have learned along the way.  Until next week!  Take good care!

Alicia
